Threeway Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Chocolate lovers rejoice. Cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips join forces to make this Threeway Chocolate Cookies Recipe.

Trivia: Apparently, even though white chocolate originates from the cocoa (cacao) plant, it does not meet the FDA's regulations to be classed as "chocolate."

Tip: For best results, always use good quality chocolate.

Tip: If you're in the market for a new mixer, I recommend the KitchenAid K45SS Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer, White

1 2/3 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped, not fine
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350°.

Mix the dry ingredients together.

In a separate bowl, cream the butter on medium speed of an electric mixer. Cream it until light and fluffy. Slowly beat in the sugars, egg and vanilla. Blend in the dry ingredients. Use the low speed of your electric mixer for the blending. Finally, add the chocolate chips and pecans.

Prepare a cookie sheet and drop tablespoonfuls of dough on the sheet. Space them about two inches apart.

Bake until set. This will take about eight minutes or a little more. Cool this Threeway Chocolate Cookies Recipe on the sheet for around five minutes then remove to a wire rack.
