1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup of icing sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Combine your dry ingredients. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together the oil, peanut butter and butter. Beat well. Beat in the sugars until everything is mixed together. Next, beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir the dry ingredients into the batter, then add the chocolate chips.

Pick up spoonfulls of the dough and roll into balls that are about 1 1/4 inches. Grease a baking sheet and place these balls on the sheet about two inches apart from one another.

Using a fork, flatten them slightly. If the batter sticks excesively to the fork, dip the fork in baking soda then flatten. Criss cross the tops of the cookies with a fork if you like this look.

Bake for ten or twelve minutes or until done. Remove your peanut butter chocolate chip cookies from the oven and place them on a wire rack until cool.

These peanut butter chocolate chip cookies are so easy to make you'll want to serve them regularly.
