Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup of honey or sugar
1/4 cup of cocoa
1/4 cup water
3 cups milk
2-4 tablespoons peanut butter of the creamy variety
3 ounces of chocolate, bittersweet. This should be a good chocolate that is perhaps 70% cocoa.
Method
Chop the bittersweet chocolate into fine pieces.
Using a saucepan, combine the sugar and cocoa and stir well to eliminate lumps. Add the water and then the milk. Whisk well and place over medium heat. Heat until the mixture steams.
Take the saucepan off the stove and add in the peanut butter and chopped chocolate.
Allow this to sit for a moment and then combine thoroughly using a hand held blender.
Serve this yummy peanut butter hot chocolate recipe in an attractive mug. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top if you want to be decadent.
